At B Rauhty Baseball, we believe in the power of community, resilience, and honoring those who have left a lasting impact on our lives. That’s why we started the Chris Walsh Summer Camp Scholarship Program — in loving memory of our dear friend, Chris Walsh.

Chris was more than just a talented ballplayer we grew up alongside — he was a lifelong friend whose family has remained close to ours through the years. In January 2022, Chris passed away from cancer at the young age of 32, leaving behind his wife and two children. His love for the game of baseball was matched only by his love for his family and friends.

To keep his memory alive, we invite one deserving child each summer to attend our camp free of charge — someone who is going through a difficult time, whether it’s coping with illness, the loss of a loved one, or another personal hardship. It’s our way of carrying forward Chris’s spirit and spreading a little hope and joy through the game he loved.

This scholarship is more than just a spot at camp — it’s a tribute to resilience, community, and the enduring impact of a life well-lived.
